Toy cars
Artefacts of childhood, shapes once familiar on the High Streets of Great Britain, delivering the post, carrying the carpenter's tools.
Yes, we had both of these Hornby-Dublo vehicles at home back then. The Morris Minor van carried Royal Mail titles but they have worn off in this picture.
They were scaled to fit in with OO gauge railways, whereas Dinkys, Corgis and Matchbox didn't do this.
